I am a graduate student at Penn State University, starting in fall 2017, working in Peter Wilf's paleobotany lab. I love geology and paleobotany. I am originally from Los Angeles, California. I got my start in paleo as an intern at Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument in Colorado. As a graduate of Colorado College in geology and employee of the Denver Museum of Nature & Science I spent a lot of time performing fieldwork in Western North America, as well as working in paleobotany collections and the preparation lab. My next chapter begins in the Southern Hemisphere as I travel to my father's home country, Argentina, to conduct research on fossil floras of Patagonia and start my career as a paleobotanist.
When I'm not doing science, I love to play with my cat, Canela, and my dog, Cash; cook delicious food (especially pizzas and empanadas); go hiking with friends; ride horses; and bowl on a women's bowling league with other PSU geoscientists.
